Located at 6501 S. 19th St., the college offers a range of academic and occupational degrees, Worker Retraining programs, continuing education classes, and developmental learning opportunities. About 8,400 students come to our 150-acre campus each quarter. Since TCC's opening in 1965, more than 17,000 people have earned associate degrees here.
Like all community colleges, Tacoma Community College has an "open-door" policy, and accepts all applicants. A diverse faculty and staff, specialized counseling, and an accessible campus work to ensure success for students of all ages and backgrounds. Class size at TCC tends to be small, and emphasis is solely on teaching. More than 75 of TCC's 110 full-time faculty have over 20 years of teaching experience. |
