To provide you with this opportunity, the Cohousing Association of the United States (Coho/US) sponsors daylong tours of cohousing communities in several areas around the nation.=0D=0A=0D=0AYou are cordially invited to join us on this bus tour and "traveling workshop" of Portland's Cohousing communities. Tour will be led by a local and knowledgeable cohousing resident. We are planning to include Trillium Hollow, Cascadia Commons, Daybreak Cohousing, Columbia Ecovillage and Peninsula Park Commons. Lunch will be served in the common house of one of those communities.=0D=0A=0D=0AAs you travel between locations on a comfortable bus, the tour leader(s) will give participants a chance to introduce themselves, share general information about cohousing, answer questions, provide fact sheets and site plans, and prepare you for your 40-minute visit to each community.=0D=0A=0D=0AAt each stop, a community host (often a long-time resident) will guide your group through his or her neighborhood and answer questions. Mid-day, we will have lunch in one of the communities common houses in the company of some of their residents.=0D=0A=0D=0ACohousing communities offer nurturing places where people of all ages grow and age well.
