More information:	The Bay Area Bioscience Center (BayBio) is a public-private partnership and forum organized to strengthen the competitiveness of the region as the premier global location for bioscience research, education, and industry. Formed in 1990, BayBio serves as the hub of the region's bioscience community and a center for public education and outreach. Heading into the 21st century (so often mentioned as the Biotech Century), BayBio plans activities to foster entrepreneurship and support the small biotech start-up companies in the Greater Bay Area.
