The Charles River Swimming Club was founded in 2005 to organize swimming events in the Charles River, to recognize and promote the ongoing efforts at rehabilitating the Charles, and to encourage a fundamental shift in the public's perception of the Charles and to foster civic pride in Massaschusetts' commitment to environmental issues as a whole. |
